PICTURE AND COMMENT.

This picture is from Edfu Temple and represents a carving that is found on the outer wall of the divine birth chapel. The carving represents king Ptolemy philomater serves god Khnum "ram-headed god" the Cataract god, the amulet of the crown in presence of goddess Hathor who is depicted as his mother meanwhile offering a breast-feeding to the same king in the figure of a baby.
