Valley of the cemeteries, north of Abydos. The Egyptian supreme council of antiquities has announced a new discovery in Abydos by An archaeological delegation. A newly discovered sacred-Bird catacombs contained four jars for preserving mummified eagles found in a bet 1.5 meter in depth. In addition to a mass burial for seven mummified falcons and three mummies of eagles as well as some statues of Ushabties and some stone implements.
